The Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is really a game changer - a single payment interface which introduces operability between banks, simplicity, reduces transaction failure rates, friction and enables new, better consumer experiences.
I believe its launch will mark a groundbreaking shift in the Indian payment landscape. It will allow startups to compete, unchained from previous constraints and from the terrible stock apps of banks.
A layer of payment service providers and open APIs will see many startups start to massively simplify the friction of sending and receiving payments.

Yuri Milner is spending $100 million on a probe that could travel to Alpha Centauri within a generation—and he's recruited Mark Zuckerberg and Stephen Hawking to help. It aims to develop a ‘nanocraft’ – a gram-scale robotic space probe – and use a light beam to push it to 20 percent of the speed of light. If successful, a flyby mission could reach Alpha Centauri about 20 years after launch, and send back images of any planets discovered in the system.

Beyond the new low-priced iPhone SE, Apple is pushing hard on India - the big move is selling used iPhones for cheap. Of course this is not going down well with smartphone players like Micromax, Karbonn, Samsung and Intel that dominate the low-end markets. They are lobbying against Apple citing electronic waste (wtf!) and that Modi's "Make in India will turn into Dump in India".
My guess is that ab koi na koi paise khayega - ya Apple se, ya local players se. Apple's Push to Flood India With Used iPhones Ignites Backlash
