"Who loves Orange-Soda?"
"Kel loves Orange-Soda!"

I'm not sure if most of you watched Kenan & Kel when you were a kid, but this dialogue by Kel was my favorite from the show.
But what's interesting is that Kel had an option of 30+ Orange-soda brands to pick from, whereas in India you probably cannot count more than 5!
This itself speaks about the potential for D2C brands to grow and boom in India!

Shein (pronounced She In) is the fastest-growing ecommerce company in the world. It reportedly did almost $10 billion in revenue in 2020, and has grown over 100% for each of the past eight years. The company is based in China, yet spurns its local market in favor of selling abroad. Shein sells into nearly every other major market in the world, with the notable exception of India, where it was banned along with TikTok and 57 other Chinese apps last June.

A creator economy means that people can build a career using the internet. The web allows us to create at low-cost, while attracting an audience for it. Those who distribute products online are called creators, builders, founders, or whatever else.
