In today's world, it's hard to put a finger on where you're probably working from. It can be from home, the office, an Airbnb, a coworking space, a cafe or even maybe from your sisters apartment (I was doing that once).

Mark your vote here on where you're working from! I'll share the results next week 🤜🏿🤛
With over two years into the pandemic, remote work has become more of a reality, so I thought I'd share some tips that worked for me - again, I'd underline me here as I feel productivity with remote work can be subjective.

So I'll start by breaking my thoughts down into the following parts
1. The space
2. The work
3. The team

The space
Well, let's be honest, if the space doesn't feel right, you'd never be able to work productively, even if you're working in the office. So surround yourself with an environment where you feel motivated to work. For me, I did the following;

Second screen - Huge productivity hack

Airpods - So I'm never conscious of who's listening in on my calls

Water bottle - Oh trust me, I've never stayed more hydrated in my life

Shoes - I feel this one is the key! It restricts me from going to my bed to lie down on and being lazy, in case you're working from home

The work
Working remotely can sometimes make work a little less exciting, so you can maybe do the following to keep yourself motivated to do more and keep the zest up!

Document - I think this one is pretty important, the fact that you're away from your team, the only way to monitor and progress is to document your work. Slowly, you'll see a difference in what you did yesterday and what you're doing today

Take new initiatives - If you feel that what you're doing everyday is the same, it's time to make a change

Hit me up if you want any productivity tool references🙌

The team
It's just me, myself and I. Solo ridin' till I die? Well, It doesn't have to be! I agree, being away from the team sucks. No more water cooler chats, no more beers post work to catch up - but that doesn't mean you can't build a relationship with your team.

Common Room - We've set up a common room on Zoom for team members to join whenever they are tired of working alone

Empathy - Being by yourself can be tough, and so it might even be tough on the rest of your team. Maybe spend some time with them outside of work - get zoom drinks, speak, share, learn!

So I hope this is helpful to some if not all and if you've got some hacks on how you manage your remote life, feel free to send them my way!

A few years ago, I had an absolutely horrendous interview experience at a Bangalore startup. Though it was the CEO who reached out to me and it was still very early in the conversation, the entire thing seemed off. So through friends, I reached out to a couple of marketers at the company.
The feedback was immediate: One of them had already quit, and the other was waiting for the month to get done to put in his papers.
India has made rapid progress in digitisation of the economy in the last decade becoming a world leader in identity systems, digital payments and tax, and a new data sharing and empowerment framework. However, many deep-rooted issues still exist, such as extending true financial inclusion; formalisation and creating a higher trust economy, that is essential for growth of mostly small businesses.
Despite its recent rise to fame, the term metaverse was first coined thirty years ago in 1992 by science fiction author Neal Stephenson. His novel Snow Crash depicted the metaverse as a 3D virtual world where people walk around as avatars and socialize / interact with one another and AI-generated characters.
