We are now in the 11th week of the great lockdown in India, and naturally, sometimes I get lazy curating this content.
However, by the looks of it, the monkeys in India are feeling super-productive this week. So much so that they scooted with a bunch of coronavirus samples.

And if this wasn't enough, in a serious lapse of protocol, Air India was forced to recall an aircraft mid flight. Turns out, one of the pilots operating the plane had tested positive for coronavirus during his pre-flight medical test.

Seriously, my apocalyptic hellscape bingo card is full up. ๐Ÿ™„

The only good thing that's really happened this week is Bob and Doug leaving earth altogether.

Since long before it became commonplace for venture capital investors to publicly praise their portfolio companies, Vani Kola, the managing director of Kalaari Capital, has been building up Mukesh Bansal. At conferences where Kola speaks about the ecosystem, she's often called Bansal the smartest entrepreneur in India. Other names that would feature sometimes are Kunal Bahl of Snapdeal and more recently Harsh Jain of Dream11, but Bansal is a constant fixture.
Investors at firms including Accel, FirstMark Capital and Sequoia Capital have completed fully remote investments amid the coronavirus pandemic. In the early weeks of stay-at-home orders, VCs focused on deals started before the pandemic.
Leadership is a skill that you never stop learning. It requires self-awareness, courage, and deep empathy. Sitting at a table and watching a skilled leader work is quite a sight to see. And watching someone grow into that person is one of the great joys of our work.
There is no number that can be attached to the likelihood of some event. This is essentially the situation every entrepreneur faces when she starts a business or launches a new product. And then there are the situations in between where experts are able to calculate probabilities of an event or confidence intervals of an event. But what happens if you read that something is likely to happen not from one but two sources?
